Heard about this place and my wife was craving some caldo de res ( beef soup - many places have it but a good caldo is hard to find)
Torta de carne asada ******
Good flavor ,meat was flavorful and carne asada was plentiful .
Carne asada fries ******
Hard to find item in Chicago ! Great flavor with avocado, jalapenos, sour cream . One of the better carne asada fries I've had enough for 2 people
Caldo de Res ******
Great caldo and porion size worth it
Salsa *******
many restaurants will give you a bucket of salsa if you ask for it but I end up throwing it away because it has no flavor . The salsa does not disappoint and it complements the food well ( green salsa was on point )
Can't wait to go back and try more items off the menu . -

Their bean dip is THE BEST. Also, Primo Chuki's has got the best veggie tacos on the North Side -- avocados, sour cream, cheese, rice, tomatoes and more. Most other restaurants don't even bother to put avocados or sour cream. Their horchata is delicious as well.
Friendly service, great value, and great food. -

I remember this was the old Taqueria Uptown that was around for years so I had to go in and try for myself what all the Yelpers were raving about.
As soon as I walked in, I noticed how clean the restaurant is a BIG plus for me.
They have lots of tables, t.v.'s, and lots of tacos al pastor!!!!
The tacos were on point and the salsa roja(red) Ooo that was hot but a good hot...
I Put some lime on em' and i thought I was at a taqueria in Mejico ;-)
Yes, I do recommend! -

First time I ever had Pazoli and it was delicious. I will be back. I will be trying other stuff as it all looked so good. The place is typical store front Mexican place, plenty of seating and nice staff.
